I am of sound mind that J.K. Rowling needs to help in making an actual Harry Potter game in which you get to play as a student yourself.

Star-Crossed Lovers, a Drapple fanfictionDraco raises Apple to his lips and kisses it tenderly. Words cannot explain how much he loves Apple. People often mock him, saying that someone loving a fruit should be locked in Saint Mungo, but Draco doesn’t care. He knows Apple is more than a fruit. Apple is the only thing keeping him sane in this stupid school infected by Mudbloods. Apple is the only real friend he ever had, and Apple is the only thing he’ll ever loved. They first argue a year after their first public kiss. There is a ball given at Hogwarts, and though nearly all the students are looking forward to it, Draco is worried. He doesn’t know how to explain to Apple that they cannot go to the Yule Ball together. And yet he wants it more than he ever wanted anything. But people wouldn’t understand. People never understand when love is involved anyway. So Draco comes to Apple and he says “I’ll have to take Pansy to the Ball” and Apple is hurt. There are cries and tears and pleas and in the end, Draco agrees to take Apple to the Ball. Right in his breast pocket, so Apple can feel his heart beating for it even if it is not the girl in Draco’s arms. But this first argument is nothing compared to what awaits them when Draco is in his sixth year. He’s been assigned a task by the Dark Lord, and Draco needs to complete it as soon as possible if he wants his family to be safe. So he works hard, so hard he ends up neglecting Apple. The poor fruit is feeling all alone, because it feels as if Draco was cheating on it with that silly Vanishing Cabinet. Draco swears he still thinks of Apple all the time, every single minute he spends in the Room of Requirement is filled with toughts of the fruit he loves so much. But Apple doesn’t believe him, because it has seen the way Draco seems to be less and less happy. So Apple tells Draco it doesn’t believe him and it wants him to take it to the Room of Requirement. And there, Apple sees Draco was telling the truth, and it breaks its heart. So Apple takes a hard but necessary decision: it is going to help him fixing the Vanishing Cabinet. Draco refuses, at first, because he knows how dangerous it can be, but Apple loves him too much to let go. Draco ends up agreeing and puts Apple into the Cabinet. He swallows hard when he closes the door, thinking of all the good times Apple and he had together, and he hopes with all his strenght that everything will be alright, because he cannot live without his love. And when he opens the door and takes Apple in his hand again, his heart is going to explode from pain because Apple didn’t make it. There is a missing bite on it, as big as the whole that is now eating Draco’s heart. He cannot live without Apple, and yet he doesn’t have a choice, because his family is counting on him. After Apple’s death, Draco becomes only the ghost of the man he used to be. His joy is all gone with his love, and he breaks down, crying in Moaning Myrtle’s toilets. And the worst part of it all is that he cannot talk about his pain to anyone, because people would not understand. They would say he is stupid, crying over an Apple. So Draco keeps this story for himself until the day he dies and can meet Apple again in the after-life. They were star-crossed lovers and they suffered, but in the end, they never stopped loving each other. And this is all that matters.

I don’t even.
